Die Infos hab ich gerade als mail bekommen:

Hi all
We are back with more info and more news, but first we’d like to thank all of you who have been giving feedback on GTR Evolution and to those of you who have hammered our mailboxes asking for a STCC release date.. nice to see you want it THAT bad.

STCC Steam Release

The very anticipated full “STCC-The Game” release on Steam is scheduled for… now J

STCC - The Game on Steam/

Such a release is not as exact a science as most would believe, it takes a lot of coordination and last second changes from Valve and from us. This time around things happened a bit faster than anticipated, so our plan to advice you a few days before release never materialized. Now you get the game instead of an “Out Soon” message, so my guess is that you won’t mind terribly… and that your weekend will suddenly be a lot more busy than you had planned.

For those of you who are still wondering what “STCC - The Game” is, I can recommend taking a look at Simracing Tonights video preview: http://www.insidesimracing.tv/

Or of course on the game website here http://game.stcc.se/ where you’ll find video, wallpapers, a demo and much more.

GTR Evolution Demo

You heard it here first, there will be a GTR Evolution demo and it will possibly be out already next week. The final date has not been set in stone yet, but right now it looks like you should be able to spread the download link within 5-10 days! The demo will have multiplayer capability and new potential Evolution customers will be presented with the Spanish built Sunred supercar on Brands Hatch. Nearly 500 Judd V10 sponsored horsepower should be enough for anyone to have a pretty good time on the British tarmac.

V-WTCC Grand Finale

A little over a week ago the first ever V-WTCC champion was crowned in front of rolling Eurosport cameras, lots of spectators, grid girls and curious real life WTCC drivers.

The final race was to be a spectacular show of what simracing is all about, with intense close racing between a whole grid of drivers on the same extremely high level of skill and raw speed. Congratulations to all involved simracers and thanks for helping us show the world what a audience friendly spectacle simracing can be.

The winner and new owner of a Chevrolet HHR car was well known simracing ace Roland Ehnström.

Read up on the event and see Rolands own comments on the win here: http://www.v-wtcc.com/

Job Openings

We are busy as ever and we are always looking for talented individuals who can make a difference and help raise the bar even higher in our future titles.

On our website you can see what specific job opening we have at the moment and you can also send in some of your own work to show the guys in development what you are capable of. Right now we need a Assistant Lead Programmer, a Quality Assurance Lead and a Chief Financial Officer… feel free to spread the word in your community as we always enjoy recruiting from community ranks. Check out www.simbin.com for more info.

The SimBin website

We are currently busy updating our website and we hope you will make it a frequent stop on your daily routine inspection tour.

As a part of our commitment to you community leaders and administrators we are of course interested in your comments and feedback, so if you have ideas for what would be essential additions to the SimBin site then let us know. In that regard we are also looking for talent to create cool render scenes we can showcase and we are looking for a skilled web developer to do the odd Flash module here and there. No official job on the line but if you know someone who would find it interesting to lend us a hand, push them forward and have them show us what they can do.

Future Teaser

Last but not least, a little bit of news about what is to come in the future.

We have secured licenses for a couple of highly requested series and we think our next scheduled title will come as a big happy surprise to all racers around the world.

The release which is scheduled for release 2009, should lock into the new GTR Evolution base the same way as STCC does, meaning rules, cars, tracks and features specific to this new series will instantly become available in GTR Evo and STCC if you also own those.

We are quite proud of this way of improving our previous titles constantly and we hope you enjoy it as well. Even if you never buy anything after RACE 07, your game is constantly updated, refined and patched automatically when we release new titles that combine with the base. No more messing around with car conversions or mismatches whenever you try to get a simple pickup race online. All content moves seamlessly between the titles you own, and yeah we think that’s pretty cool ;)

That’s it for this time, hope to be able to present you with more info on RACE Pro next time

Meinst Du? Die sprachen doch von einer "big happy surprise to all racers around the world".
